Regional Observatory for Biodiversity of Calabria

The Regional Observatory for Biodiversity is an instrument that the Aspromonte National Park and the University of Calabria have to promote the knowledge of flora, fauna, habitats and ecosystems of Calabria. Through a Webgis system you can explore the national parks, other protected areas and the network Natura 2000 and highlight the natural elements and the species present, starting from the most rare and at risk. The Regional Observatory for Biodiversity is also equipped with an Open Archive, a section dedicated to special features exclusive to Calabria, such as climate change, environmental issues, classifications of marine species or rare plant species lists.
