The restaurants and farms holidays in the area of the park of Aspromonte offer menus consisting mainly on typical local products, a kitchen based on the Aspromonte renowned culinary tradition and, even nationally affirmed, for the production of fine cheeses, a large variety of meats and the typical bread of grain cooked on wood stove.

Among the main dishes of the Calabrian table traditions there are the famous “maccaruni ‘i casa”, handmade macaroni spiced with goat meat sauce, pork or beef, the dishes based on mushrooms (porcini, pineroli, rositi, tricoloma) collected in immense beech forests of Aspromonte, and the stockfish, commonly called ‘pesce stocco’, a Norwegian arctic cod cooked in various ways after the traditional drying process.
